Shahrukh Khan continues to court controversy. Just when we thought that the 48-year-old megastar had a close shave with the alleged sex determination controversy for testing the sex of his new born son AbRam, Shahrukh finds him in trouble yet again.
The Bombay High Court has now issued notices to the superstar and his wife Gauri on a petition filed by a social activist. A certain Varsh Deshpande has challenged a magistrate’s order refusing her application for documents pertaining to SRK-Gauri’s child born through surrogacy.
Deshpande has alleged that Khans conducted a sex determination test before their third child, AbRam who was born. Deshpande has sought documents pertaining to the surrogacy process and documents collected by the (BMC) Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
Deshpande has filed a complaint in the magistrate’s court seeking action against the Chennai Express actor, his wife Gauri and Mumbai based Jaslok Hospital under the Pre-conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act (PCPNDT).
Justice R P Sondurbaldota on Friday issued notices to SRK, Gauri, and Jaslok Hospital and posted the matter for hearing on January 10, 2014.
